Head of People and Culture

Part-time (FTE0.6) - Melbourne CBD

Want to be head of people and culture at a workplace that highly values people and culture?

We’re not exaggeratinghere’s a few articles to prove it:

About us

ntegrity is an award-winning digital agency servicing Australia’s leading not-for-profit, commercial and government brands. We come alongside clients and help them prepare for their digital future.

Our unique agency/consultancy model means we work both strategy and implementation—from marketing quick wins right through to organisational-wide transformation.   We focus on meaningful measurement over vanity metrics, and empowering clients rather than keeping them in the dark.

Our team is hard-working, encouraging, supportive, resilient, honest, and kind.

We think you’ll like it here.

The Role

We’re looking for an energetic, optimistic people leader that will ensure scalability and sustainability of ntegrity’s most valuable asset: our high-performing team members! You will do this by scaling our HR systems, protecting and enriching our culture and most importantly leading efforts to attract, retain and develop  our people.

We are still a small business (12 staff in Melbourne and 10 remote) so this role requires a highly strategic leader that loves to roll up their sleeves. If you are used to a larger bureaucratic environment with significant worker bee support – this isnt the role for you. We’re looking for someone who wants to be doing exceptional, meaningful “hands on” work that stretches you professionally.

This role is currently part-time but it is anticipated that it will grow into full-time and you will determine when that is best. This is not a traditional, 9-5 office-based role. You can split your hours across multiple days, and work/life balance is important to us.

What you’ll do

  • Scale our existing Human Resource Foundations to enable us to become a larger business (policies, systems and internal communications).
  • Manage ntegrity’s Professional Development Program, ensuring that staff receive regular and appropriate feedback and training in align with their growth trajectory
  • Develop staff across core professional competencies (i.e. Time management, Organization, building resilience, prioritisation)
  • Recruitment and onboarding of team members
  • Coordinate and manage key culture initiatives, from quarterly strategy days to social events

Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years demonstrable experience in HR leadership ideally within a professional services business or agency
  • 3-5 years demonstrable experience leading teams and developing staff members
  • Strong interpersonal communication, influencing and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience developing innovative solutions to complex people issues
  • Experience managing staff of different skillsets and backgrounds
  • Experience in change management across people, process and tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines proactively
  • Highly analytical mindset with an ability to see the bigger picture
  • Process driven and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment and think on your feet

  • Digital agency/services experience
  • Experience working in a startup environment

The rewards

  • Play a crucial part in building a fast-growing company, where you are central to its growth
  • Work in a business that truly embodies integrity (it’s our name!), a place where honesty, kindness and transparency meet innovation and growth
  • Work with a team high in both  EQ & IQ
  • Work in an open, collaborative culture that encourages innovation and creative thinking
  • Work on problems that matter with a friendly, passionate team
