Digital Creative Specialist

About the role

We’re looking for a dynamic creative to join our team. You’ll use your skills — ideation, design, concepting, copywriting — to bring digital campaigns to life.

This role will report to our Creative Lead.

About you

You’re a well rounded designer with 3 to 5 years professional experience producing digital advertising content.

You are a gun in:

  • Digital design of social and display ads, landing pages, emails, and cut-through content 
  • Marketing copywriting
  • Creating digital marketing campaigns that perform
  • Understanding of best practices in digital design

Preferably you have experience at a not-for-profit organisation, working in fundraising &/or at an agency.

On a day-to-day basis, you will..

  • Work closely with Account Managers and clients to develop engaging creative assets to speak with their audience and deliver effective ROI
  • Receive briefs from Account Managers for content/assets that need to be developed
  • Design assets  for a variety of social, display and email platforms 
  • Write short form copy (social ads, emails, landing pages, website copy)

The essentials

  • Skilled designer and confident in the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience writing engaging short-form copy for digital channels
  • Experience developing creative ideas/concepts
  • Confident executing artwork from a written brief
  • Confident explaining the rationale behind your creative approach
  • Proficient in digital advertising best practices 
  • Proficient at developing creative across digital channels including social ads, GIFs, landing page design, email design, website wireframes
  • Comfortable providing and receiving feedback
  • Australian citizen or PR


Also a plus!


  • Experience with developing digital campaign strategies
  • Experience articulating a reverse brief
  • Experience developing a brand strategy and/or brand visual language
  • Confidence pitching your creative concepts/ideas
  • Not-for-profit/fundraising experience
  • Experience with website design
  • Experience creating HTML5 animated ads
  • Experience with animation or video production
  • Experience with print design
  • Experience handing off design concepts to for production
  • An entrepreneurial and growth mindset —  you thrive on a challenge, and deliver quality work on a deadline.




Not a requirement, but definitely a bonus

  • Experience facilitating workshops
  • Experience managing client accounts
  • Proficient in animation (After Effects)
  • Proficient in video editing (FCPX or Premiere Pro)
  • Proficient in video Production (Cinematography, lighting, sound, interview)
