My first 2 months at ntegrity!

Applying to ntegrity was a bit of a leap of faith for me. I’d spent the last few years interning in a very corporate environment and envisioned continuing my career in that space. Then I heard Richenda speak about ntegrity in one of my lectures at RMIT University and was really engaged by her and her entrepreneurial spirit.

When Richenda mentioned she was looking for interns I knew I had to apply! At the time I wasn’t even looking for an internship, I already had one and was studying full time, however, as soon as I got home that night I applied for the role.

My friends and family thought I’d gone crazy and worried about how I was going to juggle two internships and full time study. Maybe I had gone a little coo coo, because I didn’t even think about the juggling act, I just knew that this was a great opportunity and I needed to take it.

Cut to two (and a bit) months later, and I’m officially a part of the ntegrity team and loving every minute of it! ntegrity is fun, fast paced and dynamic  making it quite different from the more structured and slower moving corporate world that I’m used to.

My role at ntegrity is in business development and I am enjoying seeing the results of my work help to grow the business. Personal development for me is really important and the development I am experiencing here already is huge. Another highlight for me is being situated at The York Butter Factory. YBF has such a creative vibe and getting the opportunity to collaborate with, and learn from, other entrepreneurs on-site is a really unique and exciting way to work.

But, surprisingly the biggest thing I have learnt is just how much more I have to learn when it comes to social media. Especially since, being Gen Y and using social media daily I thought I was pretty well versed!

That’s another reason why this role is and continues to be such a great opportunity. ntegrity is one of those companies that you can spend your whole working life looking for, so I’m so lucky to have found it early on!
