Social Media Strategist (Freelance)

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Social Media freelancer to join our team. 

You’ll bring deep NFP, fundraising and/or digital experience to ntegrity’s robust proprietary strategy approach, developed over nine years and hundreds of projects. 

Working alongside our core team of strategists and performance experts on a project-by-project basis, you’ll deliver clear strategies that enable our clients to achieve their goals – from digital audits and strategy, to product and campaign strategy, to digital transformation. 

You’ll have the support of our full-service team as you lead these purpose-driven projects. This role will contribute to the development of clear social media strategies and roadmaps to enable our clients to achieve their goals.

About you

What we’re looking for: 

  • 7-10+ years of experience in social media  

  • Experience in growing online communities  through organic and paid channels 

  • 2-5 years of experience working in or with Australian charities on social media

  • Holistic understanding of paid and organic social media, with in depth social knowledge and experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in reporting and data analysis to deliver clear and actionable  insights based on results

  • Advanced knowledge across the following platforms: Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest & Twitter

  • Intermediate level of knowledge of paid social advertising across multiple platforms

  • Knowledge and experience of community management, and safeguarding brands from crisis across social

  • Strong client management skills and the ability to communicate good and bad news with clarity and confidence.

  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently and without guidance.

  • Results and goal oriented approach - motivated to deliver strong results for client campaigns and projects.

  • A strong work ethic and a genuine team player.

  • The ability to work autonomously.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be:

  • Developing holistic paid and organic social strategies 

  • Maintaining and growing knowledge of best practice for social media landscape, tools, platforms and channels and the market developments and trends with these as they pertain to commercial/organisation/marketing strategy. 

  • Act as the agency social media expert

  • Analyse key social data points to identify and communicate insights that will inform strategic work

  • Partner with clients in the execution of their strategy roadmap and develop long-term relationships

  • Tailor and lead ntegrity’s most common workshops (including empathy mapping and customer journey mapping) and co-present discovery findings, strategy and reporting.

  • Confidently overseeing client accounts/projects independently.

  • Supporting strategy projects that require specialised social contributions when required.

  • Maintaining high standards across campaigns/clients to ensure client satisfaction and maximising campaign success.
