Digital Marketing Strategist (Freelance)

About the role

We’re looking for a collaborative, flexible and purpose-driven Digital Marketing Strategy Freelancer to join our team!

You’ll bring deep NFP, fundraising and/or digital experience to ntegrity’s robust proprietary strategy approach, developed over nine years and hundreds of projects.

Working alongside our core team of strategists and performance experts on a project-by-project basis, you’ll deliver clear strategies that enable our clients to achieve their goals – from digital audits and strategy, to product and campaign strategy, to digital transformation.

You’ll have the support of our full-service team as you lead these purpose-driven projects. Your work will cover everything from discovery – e.g. data analysis, user research and market research – to facilitating workshops with diverse stakeholder groups, right down to creating tactical roadmaps that empower our clients to put their strategy into action.

On a day-to-day basis you will be:

  • Leading strategy projects end-to-end, managing projects’ scope and timelines, providing insight and direction to clients.

  • Conducting analysis to identify and communicate insights that will inform strategic work. This includes leveraging quantitative and qualitative data, developing and conducting interviews and surveys, and using digital tools and channels to identify insights.

  • Drawing key insights and recommendations and developing clear, data-driven strategies that enable clients to achieve their objectives—including product strategy, holistic digital strategy, website and content strategy, brand strategy, campaign strategy, and fundraising growth strategy.

  • Reviewing client planning, reporting, and strategies and conduct strategic conversations with the client to glean insights on their internal operating environment.

  • Developing and leading workshops to achieve the project and client objectives, including vision, empathy mapping, and customer journey.

Key Selection Criteria

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing and/or digital with a strong foundation in NFP or values-based organisations.

  • Strong understanding of a wide range of digital channels and marketing technology and experience (and proven examples) of building customer and supporter-centric digital campaign strategies and growing revenue through strong strategic focus and execution.

  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to transform complex or detailed data into clear and powerful communications and strong storytelling skills.

  • Excellent client relationship management and the ability to function as a trusted digital advisor, thinking beyond the brief to deliver solutions that help the client consistently grow.

  • Positive, open, and honest communication style.

  • A strong work ethic and being a genuine team player.

  • The ability to work in Australia, in the Melbourne timezone.

  • Minimum 16 hours per week commitment.
