Creative Studio/Traffic Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a Creative Studio/Traffic Manager to join our team!

Reporting to the Snr Operations & Resource Manager, the Creative Studio/Traffic Manager will manage traffic & resourcing for the creative team and a global pool of freelancers.

This role will manage the creative team’s workload and creative projects, delivering them to agreed timelines and budgets, with excellent organisational and project management skills. You will also have specific projects to manage from concept through to omni channel delivery.

About you

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management and or studio management

  • Proven success in project management for creative teams or agencies and producing high quality campaigns

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines and budgets, and manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Deep understanding of the differences between the various media channels, advertising, and digital experience, and the need to think platform first when it comes to making great social media content

  • Ability to confidently develop briefs, scoping and project plans and can manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with social/digital, video (online and TV), websites, direct mail OOH and print media

  • Ability to manage resourcing and prioristise multiple project deadlines to produce the best creative output efficiently

  • Someone from a creative agency focused on digital execution and from either an account management or creative production background

  • Experience working in a creative environment and strong understanding of the balance between creative  development and client deadlines

  • Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and present confidently to clients around deliverables and timelines

  • Ability to work in Australia, in the Melbourne timezone. Ideally you will be Melbourne based and be willing to travel to attend productions as needed

    On a day-to-day basis you will be...

  • Making decisions on timelines, capacity & team allocations in order to most efficiently use our resources

  • Be available to problem solve and support the Creative Team as needed to ensure timely delivery of work

  • Reviewing project plans and providing guidance on timeframes & resourcing prior to project signing

  • Managing the day to day upkeep of our project management tools to ensure visibility on priorities and also studio visibility to the wider team

  • Building production schedules and managing projects’ timelines identifying when projects are at risk, prioritising as needed, and alerting teams when to plan contingencies

  • Proactively managing scope to meet budgets and objectives

  • Keeping project management tools up-to-date as/if timings and deliverables change

  • Adjusting quickly to schedule changes and book creative resources as needed
