Creative Director / Creative Lead

We’re looking for a Creative Director/ Creative Lead to join our team!

As Creative Lead, you’ll ensure our tight-knit creative team is producing work that grabs attention, inspires people to act, and helps our clients achieve their goals.

This role is Senior level, and will report to our Head of Services. Whilst the role is a fixed term position (paternity leave backfill), there is potential for an ongoing engagement. We offer a flexible contract and will consider candidates available three to five days depending on level of experience and availability.

About you

The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

  • Experience at a Creative Agency, or fast-paced creative services team

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, and what drives campaign performance and success

  • Understanding of fundraising, advocacy and NFP marketing

  • Proven experience with ideation, concept development and pitching

  • Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives

  • You are eligible to work in Australia (citizen/ PR) and in the Melbourne timezone

On a day-to-day basis you will

  • Translate briefs into clear, creative strategies

  • Develop and pitch creative concepts for clients

  • Work closely with our copywriter and designer to produce high-quality deliverables

  • Review all creative work in the agency and provide feedback

  • Review and provide recommendations on client’s existing creative, including landing pages, digital advertising, website, email, and social channels

  • Liaise between individual clients, internal teams, and the creative team

  • Foster a positive work environment

  • Assist the BD team in estimating scope and hours for new projects

  • Collaborate across the agency in developing marketing plans, analysing results, and identifying opportunities

  • Manage two direct reports, and project-based freelancers
